It is always fun with magnetic tiles!! Children had to find the same shapes and the colour of the tiles to match them on paper I had drawn. They had fun making cubes with the magnetic tiles and picking the same colour of teddy bears. They used the tongs to pick them up. Finally, they had fun making a marble maze with magnetic tiles!!

Practising life skills is a great way to create independence in young children. We chose simple activities like washing cars, following tap lines on the floor and going through tunnels. We setup first with cars, water and soap. Then we added the sponge to clean the cars. Children were washing cars with the sponges, squeezing the water from them and making soap to make it more bubbly. They had so much fun and spent long time playing with it.

We used different colours of cardboard paper for our tunnels. Children love to play with cars and it’s another way to have fun with cars. They made left to right turns with cars to go through the tunnels.

Learning Objectives: gross, fine motor skills, recognition colours, attention, sensory play, develop the hand muscles and eye coordination of children moving around with cars, language, shapes, and hand and eye coordination 🚖🚙🏎🚘 🏎
