It was so special to see parents, grandparents, teachers, and children walking through the Art Exhibit together - admiring the work, sharing conversations, and witnessing the pride the children felt in displaying their creations. đź’›
Today's exhibit was a reflection of the care, concentration, imagination, and joy poured into the creative process throughout the year.
Thank you to all of the families who joined us and helped make the day so meaningful

Our Kaban Talent Show, planned and hosted by our Elementary students, was a true celebration of confidence, creativity, and community.
From dance and singing to storytelling, instruments, skateboarding, cooking, and taekwondo, it was so special to see both children and parents share their talents. We ended the evening with a musical performance by our Elementary students.
We are so grateful for the family participation, and look forward to welcoming even more of our community to share their talents with us next year!

Our Casa children enjoyed a special trip to the Bradley Museum for the Sap to Syrup program. We explored how sap becomes syrup, learned about maple trees and the production process, and tasted maple sugar along the way. The bus ride made the experience even more memorable!
Moments like these bring Montessori learning to life through hands-on discovery and real-world connection.

🍕 Pizza Friday to wrap up Spring Camp at Kaban 🍕
Food preparation is a core part of the Montessori environment, building independence, patience, coordination, and confidence.
A joyful (and delicious!) way to end the week!

At Kaban, we nurture every child’s curiosity from the very beginning.
Before you have a child confidently dividing with hands-on materials in elementary, you have a child in Casa exploring number sense and problem-solving.
Before that, you have a toddler sorting shapes and creating patterns, and an infant discovering size, shape, and coordination.
Every stage builds the mathematical mind, strengthens independence, and prepares children for the next step in their learning journey.

The most beautiful thing I’ve seen lately? A child discovering they have something to teach.
In a mixed-age community, the most powerful teachers aren't the adults... they are the role models who were in those same shoes just a year ago.
When an older child guides a younger one, they aren't just sharing a skill. They are discovering their own mastery and the empathy it takes to lead. It’s the "near future" for the little ones, and a moment of profound growth for the big ones.
Has your child stepped into the "mentor" role lately? What was the "work" they were sharing? 👇

We invite current Kaban Elementary families and Casa parents considering the next step to join us for our Elementary Information Session. We’ll share our vision, program enhancements, and how we support children’s academic, social, and emotional growth as they move forward with confidence.
We look forward to coming together as a community of families invested in Montessori education.

Our students have been joyfully exploring a cultural box from Bulgaria as part of an international Montessori cultural exchange project. Filled with materials, artifacts, and children’s work, the box offered a meaningful window into a different country across the globe.
In the true spirit of Montessori, our Elementary students have also been thoughtfully preparing a cultural box of their own, soon to be sent to Austria. Through shared stories, materials, and beautiful handmade art, this project reminds us how connected our world truly is. 🇨🇦 🇦🇹
