Last night I had the privilege of facilitating the 2nd cycle of a 12 week Mastermind group that I started earlier this year. I have been leading discussions with some incredible women who are in the process of building their own business...they've made some great progress in cycle 1...can't wait to see what they will do next.
This week we talked about having a Growth or Fixed Mindset and how we think about our talents and abilities dramatically influences our chances of success.
Personally, my struggle is remembering that in most circumstances, my effort and attitude is far more important than my abilities. It's my need for perfection and accuracy...but hey we are all a work in progress π

Had to pull out my special bible this weekend. Self-care starts from the inside out and these past few weeks on quarantine, the sugar loaded snacks have been so easy to reach for. Prepping is an effective way to help you stay on track with a healthy lifestyle...nothing new but a good reminder! π§πΎββοΈπ₯πͺπΎ

2:30pm and starting conference call 11 of 15 for the day. Lots of meetings have been a regular thing for me but this is still an adjustment! Reminding myself to practice self care - get up, stretch, walk around while on calls, stay hydrated and surround myself with the things that make me smile! (Yes I could have done a little better on that...but 11 of 15 people!)
My "Inspire" cup...makes me smile - courtesy of my good friend ππΎπ

2 years ago running was just a "should" in my mindβ¦"I should get back to running". Just over a year ago, it was an "I'm not allowed to"β¦post concussion the doctors said I couldn't unless I wanted to set my recovery process back. The worst thing they could tell me. I hate being told I can't do something, About 6 months ago, it was an "I can't wait to start again". So in February I signed up at a new gym, signed up for an April charity run and started the slow but steady journey to a 5km run on a treadmill. I finally hit 5km and the following day my gym closed and my April run got cancelled thanks to Covid-19. I really didnβt think I was ready for an outdoor run, but today I took my run on the road. Despite the suns trickery (it was damn cold out there)β¦it was so worth it. I ran a longer distance and at my best pace so far.
We are so quick to doubt our readiness for the next challenge. Sometimes we just need to take the leap despite the doubt, and sometimes life just pushes you even if you don't think you are ready. So glad it did this timeβ¦.

Our big challenge is to live up to all that we are capable of becoming.
A colleague said this title was more fitting for me than my official one. It put a smile on my face and had me thinking about what kind of impact I want to have on the people around...so today and everyday I intend on living up to it no matter what comes my way.
What title are you living up to today?

Persistence always beats resistance. 30 days. That's how many days I tried to wake up at 5am for a morning workout before I got it right. For 30 days my body resisted a 5am wakeup call no matter what time I went to bed. Every morning I was a hot mess rushing to get out of the house and I questioned why I even bothered to try. Somehow on Friday, after 30 days of persistence, it all came together. my lesson:

Every moment of every day we can start anew. After a few days in the sun and lots of time for reflection...I'm ready for the year ahead both personally and professionally. This sign outside the Spa reminded me that I don't need to wait until I get home...I can start right now...β€οΈπ¦

It is so easy to fall into the trap of constant negative thinking and fixating on the worst case scenario in any give situation. At times I've caught myself going down that path...but then I ask what else is possible.
For all the negative possibilities there are also positive and uplifting ones so why not focus your energy on the positive?

I started this practice to help people get to a better place personally and professionally. I believe those worlds are very much connected and the state of health in one area of your life will impact another. We are whole beings and to separate or compartmentalize our experiences is a very difficult thing to do.
In my practice, I combine coaching and energy work to increase personal awareness, reduce stress, support healing and help you take action towards a better state of being. Every session starts with coaching, followed by energy practice and ending with insights and a commitment to action.
Success for me is a journey that begins with helping you make meaningful and sustainable change for the better.
