Today I got to help out with a few rescue dogs at Mattie's Place . It always feels great to give back. This was "October" whom I groomed from start to finish. I helped out with 3 other cuties too. Swiffer I helped finish too.

🐶 Please don’t wait until your puppy desperately needs a haircut before introducing them to grooming.

Their first visit shouldn’t be an emergency.

Think about what we're asking a puppy to experience:

Clippers buzzing.

Dryers blowing.

Scissors near their face.

Feet being handled.

Standing on a table.

A stranger touching practically every part of their body.

That's a LOT.

Early grooming appointments aren't just about making your puppy look cute.

They're about teaching them:

You're safe here.

This is normal.

You can trust us.

The best puppy groom isn't always the prettiest one.

Sometimes it's simply a puppy leaving the salon thinking,

“That wasn't so bad.” ❤️🐾
