Tanya's Love for Dogs

As a professional that works with animals. I refer to myself as a pet groomer sometimes but to be honest. I am so much more than "just a groomer"

I spend a lot of time learning about dogs and their behaviours and how I can make their grooming experience better for them and less stressful.

No matter which way you shake it, grooming is hard on dogs.

I truly believe that pet parents should spend time getting to know a "groomer" ( Animal care provider) that they trust and work with them to get to know their bff.

Its important for both pet parent and pet professional to respect and trust each other and of course for their pooch to trust us.

This is one example of a seminar I attended May 1st to improve my knowledge surrounding dog behaviours. I got to spend time with fellow groomers but mostly trainers including trainers eho have been in the industry for a very long time so that I could ask questions to improve how I approach the grooming process. It was amazing snd inspiring to be in the room with others who have the same passion as myself for their craft.
