Announcment today from IRCC:

International Students: we are temporarily lifting the 20-hour-per-week cap on the number of hours that students in Canada are allowed to work off-campus while class is in session: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2022/10/international-students-to-help-address-canadas-labour-shortage.html
Starting November 15 2022, until December 31 2023, if you’re an international student and have a study permit with off-campus work authorization, there will no longer be any limit on the hours you can work.
You can benefit from this change if:
➡️ your study permit has already been issued
➡️your study permit has been approved but you have not arrived in Canada yet
➡️you submitted a study permit application before October 7, 2022, and are awaiting approval
