Our latest Junior Scientist!
The University of Toronto Mississauga's Infant & Child Studies Centre is currently home to 5 different labs that research child development.
What do you research🔎❓
Well, have you ever noticed that children seem to master languages so easily & quickly, while adults often struggle for years to simply learn to order a meal in a new language?
Our research focuses on examining those perceptual, cognitive, and social factors that contribute to children’s quick mastery of human language!
How can my child become a Jr. Scientist❓

Come along with us on an eye-tracking study! At the lab, we are determined to make each appointment as smooth and fun as possible for you and your child. Our eye tracking studies help us understand more about young children's language devlopment. Participating families get sent a newsletter with the results upon completion of the study. If your child is between 6 months and 32 months old, they might be eligible for one. Sign up in the link in our bio
