Many studies have proven that music can benefit the mental health of those who listen and participate in it. We are truly grateful to be sharing the gift of music-making with our students. We especially love witnessing their positivity and their imaginations running wild during lessons. 😊

🎵 Here's a musical activity for the holidays! 🎵
After answering a musical question correctly or completing a music flashcard, our students get the chance to decorate this tree however they like! If you'd like to join in on the musical fun, dm us or visit our website at amusicalspace.com for more info.

🎵We are so honored to be able to teach music lessons to a group of wonderful, thoughtful students! We take pride in making the lessons we teach fun and engaging while still challenging students and motivating them to grow.🎵

🎵🌟Here's a holiday-inspired music activity our students have been loving!🌟🎵
Here's how it works: The student chooses a character and reads the letter on the bottom of the popsicle stick. After, they're instructed to do one of the following:
1. Find the letter on their instrument
2. Write the letter down on staff paper
3. Sing a vocal warmup starting on that letter
We find this exercise to be great for solidifying piano and guitar geography, practicing note recognition, making vocal warm-ups fun, and for adding extra holiday cheer into lessons! 😊🌟

Here are some details of how much practice we recommend for our music students to grow as musicians! 🎤🎹🎸
We recommend practicing at least 5 days a week. For beginners, teachers may assign repetitions such as repeating a song 5x per day instead of a time allotment. In terms of practice time for beginners, it can range from 5-30 minutes daily depending on age. For intermediate students, practice time can range from 30-60+ minutes daily.
