HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!

As many of you already know, I have decided to close Little Spuds for 2023 ♡ We have been so fortunate to have been able to welcome so many little spuds into our home over the years. I am so glad I was able to meet so many wonderful families. Even though the business will be closed, I dont think my doors will ever be fully closed to helping others in need of childcare ♡

Hopefully everyone is done their Christmas shopping and is enjoying a day inside with this crazy weather happening ♡♡

For casual care Monday-Friday (with limited availability for Tuesdays and Thursdays in October)

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well I'll be honest, I've been dragging my feet to write this post. The past few weeks have been busy, exciting and new! But just as I suspected, we are already stuck at home with colds this week because of our new adventures at kindergarten.

I know many have been asking but sadly, I wont be able to accept any full time or part time positions for before school care at the moment. Because of the multiple sick days that will most likely be in our future, I am better as someones backup or casually needed for school drop off or ProD Days. Please feel free to message me :D

As for daytime availability, I will be available most days (Monday-Friday) during school hours with some extended hours possible for drop in care days. PM for further details

Celebrated our last day of care yesterday with sprinklers, bubbles, and a pizza party!!!

I will be making a post about my new Fall availability in a few weeks. I'm leaning towards hopefully providing casual Before School Care for E.S.R. Elementary :D with some daytime availability as well.

WHAT A SUMMER!!!

The end of summer break is almost here! We have had a fantastic summer with all of our Little Spud friends!!

I'll be unavailable for care next week but still have some availability for the last week of August!

Reminder that September is a new transition for my family as my oldest starts a new chapter in Kindergarten ♡♡

Because of the multi ages of my own children and the extra stuff I collect for childcare, I officially own
- Foam Blocks
- Fabric Blocks
- Magnetic Blocks
- Wooden Blocks
- Duplo Blocks
- Lego Blocks

And sometimes the kids would rather just stack cans 🤣

This cold spring/summer has been great for our pea harvest! So great to have fresh veggies in the garden the kids can freely go and pick when they're hungry.
But all good things must come to an end, yesterday the Little Spuds helped me harvest some of the last of the peas. To help the process, the Little Spuds created some pulleys to help bring the peas up to the deck haha

We also did bubble painting yesterday! Super easy and entertaining, just add some food coloring to bubble solution!

Bring on the sunshine this week!!

My schedule opens up for the summer and I am available most Mondays*-Fridays for Childcare. Please message me for exact dates.

However, I will only be accepting childcare requests from families that are already pre-registered, no availability for new families at this moment.

This week as been so full of fun with the Little Spuds! I think my kids are going to take a rest day today haha

Monday was all about the garden and biking in the driveway. So much so, the bikes even had to go to the "mechanic shop"

Yesterday was we had a full day of outside activities including a wonderful adventure to Centennial Park!

Excited for the Summer weather to finally come but we're making the best of this wet Spring

What a fantastic day of playing outside on our new driveway!!! The kids absolutely loved it last week while we were self-isolating and now it's been Little Spuds approved today!!

The driveway was worth the wait it seems :D I will have to eventually park all the vehicles in it.... but I'll wait a few more days hahaha

Good Morning Everyone!

As most of you know, I am a mom of 3 beautiful children (5 and under). One of the main reasons why I switched from offering full time care to casual this year was because I didnt know how often colds would be in our home.
Sadly, we seem to end up being sick way more often now that restrictions have lifted, everyones back to activities and honestly probably just the fact that all three of my kids are so young.
I just want to say thank you to everyone for being so understanding! I've never been quite so unreliable before and it pains me to cancel care on families (especially when I know it affects their work or appointments). Know that I try my very best to be available for care as often as I can ♡♡
