Softball season is just around the corner! See info below from the Nelson Minor Softball Association. 🧢⚾️

Tier 1 and 2 boys practice Monday and Wednesday 3:00-4:30.
Tier 1,2 and 3 girls practice Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-4:30.
Game schedule will given by coaches this week.
Uniform and registration fees are due this week ($50 uniform deposit and $70 registration)

Reimagining Middle School: How Schedule Changes Spark Growth ✨
Join Dawn as she chats with Laura Perry and Amy Barrieau, two middle-level teachers who highlight their school’s journey to redesign the traditional daily schedule. The efforts of all staff at Max Aitkin School have created a personalized learning activity block, student collaborative project time, and dedicated PLC time for teachers. At the end of each project, learning is celebrated through a community expo.

Reminder: There is no school on Friday, March 13th for all students in Grades K–8. It is a Report Card Writing day for staff.

Middle School Volleyball this week:

Boys Tier 1 and 2 practice 3:00-4:30 Monday and Wednesday

Girls Tier 1 and 2 practice 3:00-4:30 Tuesday and Thursday. Those girls interested in playing Tier 3 will have a tryout during those times as well.

Hi Everyone! Our stock of gloves for outdoor PE is looking quite sparse. If you have some used gloves to donate, it would be greatly appreciated! Please send them attention to Ms Barrieau. Thanks so much! :)

Huge thank you to the IAFF Local 5087 Miramichi Professional Firefighters Association who did a fantastic job setting our fireworks off for us last night and making sure everyone had fun safely! Max Aitken Academy appreciates you!
