This is a 4 day introduction course that gives you a wonderful foundation in skin care and spa facial techniques. Theory includes the structure of the skin, it's layers and functions, cell structure, facial muscles, skin histology and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, the different skin types and how to treat them and ingredient and product knowledge and sanitation methods. You will also learn how to execute the best treatment for the skin type while relaxing your client. You will also learn which products to use and why, extractions, steam application using a facial steamer, as well as face, neck, arm, shoulder, hand and foot massage and facial pressure points.
