Build your computer skills for work, school and beyond!

Applications are open for Kenjgewin Teg’s Computer Applications Certificate Program, beginning October 1, 2026.

This eight-month program focuses on computer applications and software skills currently used in the workplace, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, operating systems and advanced office applications.

October 1, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Online or in-person options available
$50 per course + textbooks, if required

Complete all six courses to earn an Ontario College Certificate, or take individual courses on a modular basis and receive a certificate of completion for each course.

Courses include:
• Fundamentals of Operating Systems
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Advanced Spreadsheet Applications
• PowerPoint
• Advanced Word Processing Applications

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning.

This one-year Ontario University Diploma prepares learners to support children in elementary classrooms through culturally relevant learning, educational theory, and hands-on classroom experiences.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the program includes online evening sessions throughout the year, with summer in-person learning sessions in July 2027 (at our main campus in M'Chigeeng).

Ready to explore a career in the skilled trades?

TradeStart is a tuition-FREE, 28-week program designed to introduce learners to high-demand trades while building the academic, technical, and personal skills needed for future training, apprenticeship pathways, and entry-level employment.

Through a blend of classroom learning and hands-on shop experience, students will develop skills in:
• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and welding foundations
• Tools, equipment, and safe work practices
• Trades calculations and technical theory
• Workplace communication and essential skills for success

Start Your Career in Welding! Application Deadline Extended!

Welding is an in-demand skilled trade, and Kenjgewin Teg’s 14-week welding program will equip you with the hands-on training needed to pursue opportunities in the field. This program focuses on developing essential welding techniques, ensuring you gain the skills required for the workforce. Whether you're starting a new career or upgrading your skills, this course provides practical experience to help you succeed.

Students will train in fillet and groove welds, with a focus on flat and horizontal positions. Those who demonstrate proficiency may also advance to vertical and overhead welding. Upon successful completion, students will test for Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certification in SMAW and GMAW Flat and Horizontal—key credentials for employment in the welding industry.
