Submissions Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

Had a solid turnout this weekend for the kids/novice festival and nationals. Team did very well. Thought they were solid with their training, mindset, hand fighting, distance management, frames and all concepts needed to be successful. The coaches were great, leaders led, fighters fought and trophy 🏆 won. This is the start. Look forward to grading the kids team this weekend.

Amazing venue.. crazy energy.... Great food and my new favorite soda. Unbelievable pizza in a very gorgeous part of the city. Last night in Brazil 🇧🇷. One more video. That's that.

Always a test run before fight day. Venue is the best I've been in and that includes my days playing the game. Can't wait. 23.5 hrs to go. Time to punch the clock and go to work. 🇧🇷

Training and walking through the neighborhood to sit down and eat and you run into this awesome stuff. Animals you've never seen before and natural drinks that would blow your mind. Don't think I'm an amateur when it comes to mother nature either. Had more fish tanks in my garage then this place at a time in my life... used to breed and sell African Cichlids and I've been a falconer since I was 9 years old. Just don't have raptors or fish anymore because I don't have time for them.

Brackets are up. 4th seed. Fight time 10am which has been the time of comp training. Woke up 202.3lbs. Plan is to train with the savages at head quarters today and tomorrow with a day to rest, head to the venue and hit the check scale ⚖️. Almost there. Fighting is one of the best feelings you can experience. All locked in just have to do my job.

I'm happy to announce a new chapter for Submissions Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. We are now officially affiliated with Fernando Zulick and Cicero Costha. I would like to thank Marco Costa for all that he has done for us and all the members of the Bo4 team. The memories will never fade nor will the relationships.
