Milton Show Choir for Youths is a not-for-profit organization that operates multiple, community-based show choirs in Milton. Currently, we offer 2 auditioned groups, "Gleam" & "Flare", for students between Grades 4 and 12 (Placement is determined by age and ability). Students are mentored by our accomplished Artistic Co-Directors, guest artists, and also participate in workshops & master classes. Past performances include Culture Days, Royal Botanical Gardens, Cogeco TV, Tiny Talent Time (on CHCH TV) as well as featured entertainers for the Milton Talent Contest, A Ca****la Showcase and the Milton Choristers. Milton Show Choir is a proud member of Arts Milton and Choirs Ontario. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday nights from September to June. Gleam rehearses from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Members of both choirs are also required to attend about 5 intensive dance rehearsals on various Saturday mornings throughout the season.

In the spring of 2020, during the Covid19 pandemic, Milton Show Choir was forced to end its rehearsals and cancel its performances. We were stuck in our homes, but still determined to sing together.

So on the night of what would be our 7th Gleeful! showcase, we present our virtual choir performance of For Good from Wicked! For many of our older members, this is one of the first songs we sang together.

May this video serve as a great memory of some great times, singing some great music with some great people. Have a good summer everyone and we'll see you in the Fall!
