Kids Door offers a “home away from home” by providing a fun and stimulating environment for children from 11 months – 3 years old. A place to learn about friendships, help build their self-esteem, and have the freedom to be independent and to feel comfortable making new discoveries. It is a place where the child is happy and full of stories to tell mom and dad at each day’s end. My activities are structured, so the children know what to expect each day. We have Reading and Math in preparation for school readiness. Science, Social Studies and Art are also incorporated in our daily schedule. Themes are planned on a weekly basis in order to keep current with the children’s interests, abilities and goals. Kids Door is a registered in-home care. I am currently accepting full-time applications for 2016. The centre is located in Bussel Crescent, Milton L9T 0W8. Kids Door is conveniently located in a safe neighbourhood just minutes away from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Elementary School and Bruce Trail Public Elementary School. There are two playgrounds nearby. Our in-home child care space has an open concept walk-out basement that is bright and spacious. It is a non-smoking and pet free environment. The newly finished basement is complete with all the necessary permits. It has its own washroom and dining area and a private fenced-in outdoor space. Our equipment and materials are carefully selected for the child’s specific interests and his/her developmental progress in mind.
