Hot Dog Hot Lunch
For the month of October, the Reynolds Playground Committee is offering a hot dog lunch.

It will be held on:

Wednesday, October 14th - Kindergarten Green- Mr. Armstrong, Grade 1 - Mrs. Armstrong, Grade 2 - Miss Marshall, Grade 2b/3b - Mr. Clifford and Grade 3 - Mrs. Calow

Thursday, October 15th - Kindergarten Yellow - Mr. Armstrong, Grade 4 - Mrs. Batiuk, Grade 4b/5b - Mrs. Hoenmans, Grade 5 - Mrs. Kadachuk, Grade 5c/6b - Ms. Linton, Grade 6 - Mrs. Dickie

The cost for this hot lunch will be:
-Hot dog $3.00
-Veggies and Dip $2.50
-Ice Cream $1.00
-Juice box $1.00

We are also adding a Lunch Donation option to the list on the portal, for those families wishing to purchase a lunch for another student. The cost for the donation will be $7.50, and can be selected from the drop down menu under your student’s name.

We are once again using the North East School Division’s online portal for ordering and payment. There has been an improvement to the portal this year, and you can use your credit or debit card for purchases.

To place your lunch order:

•Go to: reynolds.nesd.ca
• Click on the “Our School” tab, then click on “Online Payments” (it is 3rd in the list)
•Click on the link under the online payments (https://publicforms.nesd.ca/store/home/)
• Click on “Purchase For”
• Enter in your student’s name, and under department select ‘Reynolds Central School’.
Click submit.
• If you have multiple students repeat these steps to add them.
• Once your student(s) are entered, click on Purchase items
• Use the drop down menu to select your student’s hot lunch day/grade/teacher and the
item to order. *please ensure you have selected the correct class off the list*
Click submit.
• Repeat this step for all items and all students.
• Once all items are added to order click on Checkout
• Follow the on screen steps to submit payment.
• You will receive an “Approved” screen when your order/payment has gone through.

Orders are due: Friday, October 9th at 4:00 PM

If you are unable to place your order online and require a paper copy/cash option, please contact the school (306-752-2525) or get in touch with a Playground Committee Member.

On Monday, Reynolds was proud to celebrate Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Clifford as inductees to the teaching profession, and Ms. Linton as new to the North East School Division. On stage they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Rogers, president of the North East Teachers’ Association, and Ms. Becotte, president of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation.

On Sept. 29 our Reynolds community gathered with the wider community to share in reflection, education, and action around the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Every child matters.

Nothing like a little friendly competition to stir up some intramural excitement! Grades 3-6 participate in intramurals at Reynolds, and sometimes even the staff get into it!

We think Dolly would be proud!

On “Dolly Day” (September 25 - get it? 9/25 like her famous song, 🎶 “Workin’ 9 to 5!” 🎶) members of our team participated in a secret staff dress-up!
We had the pink 🩷, the rhinestones 💎, the cowboy hats 🤠… and of course, an after lunch whole school reading time in honour of an incredible humanitarian who has done so much for literacy! 📚

Schedule for Fall Pictures:



Monday, September 28th - Kinder Green class and all Grades 1 through 6



Tuesday, September 29th - Pre-K, Kinder Yellow and anyone who was absent or missed pictures on Monday.



Please Note:

If you have a student who needs to get pictures done on Tuesday, please call the office to advise as our school will be attending the Round Dance and Walk at MUCC and we need to be there for 10:15 AM. If a student other than Pre-K or Kinder needs to get photo's done on Tuesday, we will try and get them in with the photographer first thing in the morning so that they can attend the event.



Also, as Tuesday is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we are encouraging our staff and students to wear their orange shirts. If your student is getting pictures done on this day, please send them with their orange shirt to change into after pictures have been completed.
