First time school bus riders (or any school bus riders) and their parents are invited to attend My First Ride presented by Southland Transportation. At this free event parents and children will learn about bus safety, the general rules of the bus and will take a ride! The program is offered at two different locations, feel free to attend the one that works best for you! My First Ride is offered to ALL MHPSD students and no registration required, we will see you there...

And that’s a wrap… our new playground is COMPLETE and ready for students!🎉
(However, one piece, the Ridgeline, needs to be added as it was slightly damaged today and had to be removed to be fixed.)

After years of planning, fundraising, and hard work, our brand-new playground is officially ready to be enjoyed! Today, some of our students had the chance to give it a test run, and we’re happy to report that it is kid approved! 🛝💙

This project has truly been a community effort. Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising initiatives over the years, and to the incredible volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to building this amazing space. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We can’t wait to see our students making memories, staying active, and having fun on this playground for years to come. Thank you, Ross Glen community, for helping make this dream a reality! Thank you to IPC for putting the pea gravel back into place.

We’re almost there!

Our new playground is really starting to come together! The individual spinners and other play structures are now in place, and it’s exciting to see this amazing space taking shape.

Tomorrow’s final tasks include putting the pea gravel back in place and taking down the construction fencing. Once that’s complete, our playground will be ready to welcome everyone!

We can’t wait to see our students—and maybe even a few adults! 😉—enjoying this incredible new space for years to come.

The playground build is underway!

As another incredible school year comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the memories we’ve made together!

The last week was full of celebration as we cheered on our Kindergarten students as they step into grade 1 and wished our amazing Grade 6 students all the best as they begin their next chapter. We know they will continue to do great things!

Our final week was packed with classroom celebrations, year-end activities, and unforgettable moments. A special thank you to our Grade 6 students for their hard work planning and leading our Fun Field Day! It was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone! We also loved seeing so many families come together for our successful Summer Dance.

To our students, staff, families, volunteers, and School Council- thank you for making this such an incredible year at Ross Glen School. Your support, kindness, and school spirit help make our school community so special.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing summer. We can’t wait to welcome you back in the fall for another amazing year! ☀️♥️

The fun continues this evening with our Summer Dance! This is a family dance and students must be with a parent supervisor. Thank you!

This week is filled with exciting year-end activities as we celebrate another wonderful school year together!

On Tuesday, our students will enjoy Fun Field Day, an event planned and organized by our Grade 6 students. A special thank you to our School Council for generously providing a free lunch for all students, including a hot dog, water, vegetables, fruit, and a bag of chips.

Also on Tuesday, from 5:30–7:30 p.m., we invite families to join us for our Summer Dance on the back tarmac. Pizza and water will be available for purchase, and Kona Ice will be on site with their delicious shaved ice available for purchase.

On Wednesday, we look forward to celebrating two important milestones:
🎓 Kindergarten Graduation at 10:15 a.m.
🎓 Grade 6 Farewell at 1:45 p.m.

On Thursday, we will gather for our Year-End Assembly at 9:00 a.m. as we reflect on and celebrate an amazing school year. Students will be dismissed for summer break at 11:00 a.m.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, School Council, and volunteers for helping make this school year such a success. We look forward to celebrating with everyone this week!
