Mark your calendars: My First Ride Event - Monday August 24th!

Join us for our My First Ride Event presented in partnership with Southland Transportation! My First Ride is a FREE event open to kindergarten students and all other first-time bus riders who would like to learn about the school bus prior to the first day of school, and even participate in their first school bus ride!

The event is offered to all MHCBE students and no registration is required to attend. 🚌

An evening for parents, guardians and caregivers!

Join Michael Chiasson, speaker and international bestselling author of Things We Wish Our Parents Knew, for an evening focused on strengthening connections and navigating the realities of parenting today.

From parenting in a digital age to handling conflict, stress and those difficult moments, Michael will share practical insights informed by stories and conversations with students across Canada, all with the goal of inspiring courageous conversations between kids and the adults who care for them.

Backpack Update: We have no backpacks left!

UPDATE: No backpacks left! Meaning 300 MHCBE students in our community have a new backpack for the upcoming school year!

Tomorrow is the last day to pick up a free backpack and we still have about 100 left! 🎒

Where: 1251 1st Avenue SW (MHCBE Division Office)

We’ve had an amazing turnout of families picking up backpacks for their children and we are so happy to see the impact it’s making in our MHCBE community!

A huge thank you again to Costco for their generosity! ✨
