And that’s a wrap. Our last classes finish Friday and then it’s summer time!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to all the students, MHC employees and industry partners for making this year successful. We really do appreciate you all and the hard work that goes into every year. We look forward to see everyone in the fall. Please take this break to rest, relax and enjoy the sun (hopefully it’s here to stay soon!). Cheers to icy drinks and great company all summer long!

The School of Trades & Tech held our first annual Duct Tape & Dreams awards today. Winners received a bag of cheezies and a really cool certificate (that we hope to see on their office walls!!) Here are the winners🏆:

Did you happen to notice the other medal on Logan’s neck? He won the Steamfitter/ Pipefitter award for the safest worker 🏅 Congratulations Logan for winning this great award. We’re so proud!

A bronze medal win for Steamfitter/ Pipefitter competitor Logan Demontigny and coach Chad Baron. Congratulations!!! He’s a first time competitor. He trained hard and learned so much. Thank you Logan and Chad for being fantastic!

This is so FANTASTIC. Colter Kallenberger won Silver in Heavy Vehicle Technology with coach Keon Clift. We are beyond proud and thrilled of his accomplishments. This is his second year competing. He deserves this. He worked hard for this. Congratulations Colter and Keon. Medicine Hat College

Day 2! After a good night sleep the competitors hit the competition with fresh energy. We’re always so thankful they show up to represent MHC with such professionalism, integrity and respect. Closing ceremonies will be tonight starting at 6:30. Fingers crossed but don’t worry we’ll keep you posted. Whether we place or not we are proud of all the accomplishments of our competitors.

Day 2 of Provincial Skills has started! The winners of our Regional Skills competition are representing the South East and their High Schools amazingly well! 👊 Looking forward to seeing their finished projects.

Our competitors are amazing! They showed up ready to represent MHC. BIG thank you to these amazing competitors for all the training and dedication you put in. And of course a BIG thank you to our coaches/ trainers. Without you these competitors wouldn’t have the advantage they do.

We have some of the BEST employees around. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make STEM for a day awesome. You shared your talents, wisdom and energy for skilled trades and technology to some very curious minds. These events are so important for youth and because of these awesome volunteers we can continue to put them on. Biggest appreciation for all your help, dedication and time. We appreciate it!
