Our Maveerar stood for bravery, perseverance, sacrifice, and honour. Our Maveerar fought for our nation, our people, and for our lives. They not only sacrificed their lives, but sacrificed their education, career, family, and their future, all so that the next generation of Eelam Tamils could experience these virtues of life.

The song “Maanam Ondre” highlights the path our Maveerar fearlessly paved for Tamileelam. Our Maveerar left behind their families, their education, and their lives for the struggle. We not only take the month of November, but should take everyday to honour our Maveerar by remembering their honourable sacrifice, the sacrifice that was far beyond death.
