🥚🚀 Egg Drop Challenge: Creativity Meets Science

This Science challenge asked one simple question: How can you keep an egg intact after being dropped from a height—three times in a row?
From brainstorming ideas and choosing materials to building structures and explaining the science behind them, every student completed the entire project independently. During the presentations, students introduced their designs and explained how their devices used cushioning, shock absorption, and impact distribution to protect their eggs before facing the ultimate high-drop test.
Most eggs landed safely, though there were also a few unforgettable “epic fail” moments along the way.
Science isn't just knowledge found in textbooks—it's a process of discovering problems, testing ideas, and learning through hands-on experience. Every successful landing (and every cracked egg!) became part of the learning journey.

🏸 First Round Highlights: Amberson Badminton Tournament

This week marked the opening round of the Amberson Badminton Tournament.
From the very first serve, it was clear that the “semi-pro players” we heard about were no exaggeration.
Every shot was clean and precise, every smash powerful and well-placed. Fast, controlled, and consistent — the transitions between offense and defense reflected years of solid training.
Turns out, real talent has been right around us all along. ✨

Last Friday (April 17), Amberson students stepped into St. Lawrence Market once again, bringing learning beyond the classroom and into real life 🧺
From fresh produce to everyday ingredients, they observed, recorded, and connected textbook knowledge to the world right in front of them. Each visit feels different — new questions, new discoveries, and new perspectives 🌿
When learning can be seen, touched, and even tasted, it becomes something truly meaningful ✨
