At our we believe that strong partnerships between families and educators create the richest learning experiences for children. One of our core values is building meaningful connections between home and daycare, where parents are welcomed as active participants in our community and encouraged to share their talents, knowledge, cultures, and professional expertise with children.
It is always a joy to see this vision come to life in our daycares.
Today, in one of our home daycare programs, Liora’s mom, a dentist, gifted the children an unforgettable dental adventure! There was not a single moment for boredom as the children moved from one exciting activity to another. They learned how to brush their teeth properly, became little dentists and "drilled" a sick tooth, and even helped clean harmful bacteria from a giant molar. A special thank you to Dr. Mom’s assistant — and Liora’s big brother — Spencer, for helping make the experience so much fun!
The children also sorted foods into “tooth-friendly” and “tooth-unfriendly” groups, received bamboo toothbrushes as gifts, danced, laughed, and shared countless smiles throughout the day.
Thank you to Liora’s family for sharing their time, passion, and expertise with our children. Experiences like these enrich learning, strengthen community, and remind us of the incredible things we can achieve when families and educators work together.
