Founded in 2009, the World Academy of Music is built on European classical teaching traditions, with a deep focus on technique, refined touch, tone control, and expressive musicianship. Our students have earned hundreds of gold medals, awards, trophies, and scholarships at leading Canadian and international competitions, and many continue as music majors at top universities, including the University of Toronto. Our faculty includes highly qualified teachers with music degrees who are active performers, guiding students in classical ensembles as well as jazz and pop bands. This excellence is supported by Smart Tutoring, ensuring students practice correctly between lessons, arrive prepared, and make consistent progress week after week.
