Last week was a full and exciting one at Sugu — from building and coding to participating in the second annual AFC STEM Design Air Race Competition.

A big shout-out to women in aviation, especially Dr. Celia Hein from Trent University. Dr. Hein demonstrated exceptional grit, professionalism, and determination by successfully completing both her Advanced and Level１Complex (L1C - Beyond Visual Line of Site) certifications with back-to-back picture-perfect flight reviews, while also passing both her Advanced and L1C examinations on the first attempt. An outstanding achievement and a true testament to excellence in aviation training.

Hoorah! Hats off to Canada’s newest Level 1 Complex pilots—excelling as they step into their next missions.

Had an outstanding weekend of STEM design and engineering at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, collaborating with Checkpilot - AFC ( inspiring students passionate about aviation. Students got to build drones, fly simulators and received a certificate.
