PlantBest

PlantBest With us processing the outside husk, literally 100% of the coconut is used up to make a range of natural products. We build schools and roads.

From our entrepreneurial founding in 2002, PlantBest, Inc. has been at the forefront of coconut coir development based on 3 fundamental principles. Helping the planet
Helping developing countries
Helping create a sustainable rural life

Our products are made at our two plants in Vietnam where we process millions of spent coconut husks per year. We pay well above average wage rates for the area. We support over 200 individual farmers with our daily purchases. We provide excellent working conditions including well-lit and well-ventilated workspaces. And that’s before the incredible story of the coconut husk itself. Coconuts in this area grow abundantly and naturally on coconut trees. That’s one every 75 days.

Ever wonder what’s actually in a compressed block? 🤔

It’s 100% organic coconut coir, compressed down to a fraction of its size — so it’s easy to carry and store. Add water, and it expands into ready-to-use growing media in minutes.
