Casa made vertical and horizontal lines with green paint and then stamped apple prints with yellow and red paint! 🍎
This craft allowed the teachers to observe the children’s pincer grasp and hand strength. Crafts are a wonderful way to develop fine motor skills and have a whole lot of fun 🎉⭐️

Our Casa class has been learning about our Canadian hero Terry Fox ❤️
C is for courage! M is for Marathon! T is for Terry Fox! ❤️ Did you know he ran 42 km every day for 143 days! He ran from Newfoundland all the way to Ontario. He collected 24 million dollars from his Marathon of Hope! ❤️ He beat cancer once, and ran his Marathon of Hope with one leg and one prosthetic leg. He had so much courage, determination and perseverance. Sadly, Terry couldn’t finish his dream to run across Canada as the cancer returned.
Today we keep Terry’s dream alive in schools across Canada and continue to raise funds for life saving cancer research.
The children brought home their colourful pictures of Terry Fox today!
If every family donates $25 we will reach our goal and make a real difference.
