At the end of every school year, our Junior School teachers like to recognize their students for their special achievements and outstanding demonstrations of faith and good character. This is also a time for students to be encouraged in seeing their peers recognized for their distinction, in word and in deed, as iron sharpens iron. Thank you to all the teachers for dedicating their many hours to not only teach their students about the world, but to model Christ’s love every day so that they go into the world with the same heart in everything they do. Special thanks to our Parents Committee for presenting the Good Samaritan and Leadership Awards, and for their continuing involvement with so many different school events that bring the community together.
Have a blessed summer of rest and fun, Screaming Eagles! May we continue to shine brightly in the world just as the Lord formed each of us for His good purpose. All glory is His, now and always.

A taste of summer came our way as JS classes headed outside for a fun day of games! There were of course cheers and laughter throughout the parking lot as the students competed in the different skill games. Water stations were frequented as kids know hydration is essential to staying cool. Thank you to all the Junior School teachers who make it their joy to create these fun events for their students, wrapping up another incredible year! This is what students have come to love and appreciate about being a part of the PCA family. Here’s to many more days of fun in the sun!

We love to have fun together in Middle School Chapel! (And we learn a lot, too!) After winning a chapel game in late May, Mikayla (grade 6) had the opportunity to pick a prize from one of three mystery boxes the following week. After much deliberation, she chose the medium-sized box—and won herself a set of books! We then spent the rest of chapel learning about what it means to be a good role model, and how we can be godly examples to those around us. We're sad the school year is almost over, but we're excited to learn and have lots of fun in chapel next fall!

On the final school day of May, the Senior School Track & Field Team competed in the annual SSAF track meet at York University. Our athletes were incredible, bringing home three out of a possible four banners and claiming forty-four total medals. The icing on the cake was when our U20 Boys Relay Team took the gold in a dominant showing during the final race of the day. Coaches Mrs. Bennett and Mr. Westacott could not be more proud of this team!

Every year our grade 9 students go on an annual service trip to serve the less fortunate as Jesus commanded us to care for the “least of our brothers and sisters.” This is a great opportunity for our students to see the needs in our city, to put into practice our responsibility as Christ-followers to care for the poor. This is the love we demonstrate through tangible action, as if doing it unto the Lord. Thank you to the Yonge Street Mission for sharing a glimpse into what they do on a daily basis. May the Lord continue move in our hearts for the broken-hearted, for those who struggle with loss, and for those who have yet to know Him.
“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’” - Matthew 25:40

We had an amazing time today hosting 7 Christian schools for our 2025-2026 Battle of the Books competition.
Our PCA students read ten books and each of them became experts in four books. Our students were asked challenging questions and delivered their answers with excellence.
Our PCA #2 team placed second and our PCA #1 team placed fourth. Congratulations to both!
Thanks to Mrs. J. Lee, Mrs. Abdulnour, Mrs. Peart, Mrs. M. Lee, Mrs. Yiu, Mr. Crowe and team, Mr. Sirota and team, and Mrs. Aspinall.

Our grade 8 students got to show off their Rube-Goldberg machines that they’ve spent weeks designing and crafting! What a fun and amazing opportunity to learn about “science in motion”! Thank you Mrs. Lee-Chan for teaching our students the incredible things that can be achieved by understanding science and applied engineering while allowing students to add in their own creative flare. Let the fun keep on rolling, PCA!

What a delight to see our Middle School students perform this year’s drama - The Jacket. The story highlights different obstacles we face due to grief and self-doubt. In the end, the twin sisters shed their “jackets” and find their true confidence in God’s goodness. Thank you to all the Middle School students who committed themselves to the production from beginning-to-end, learning their lines in such a short time, and delivering a meaningful message of hope and redemption through our Lord.
Thank you to Mr. Cornett-Ching and Mrs. Lee-Chan for bringing out amazing performances from our Middle School Drama Club. Also, special thanks go to all the hands that helped make this production possible: Thank you teachers, PCA staff, stage crew, and AV team!
