Chiropractic students love manual osteopathy!

10% of National Academy of Osteopathy graduating class in Toronto (Feb 2015) were chiropractic students.

Manual osteopathy is extremely popular amongst chiropractic students. Here are three chiropractic students who have graduated from the Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice program (D.O.M.P.) of National Academy of Osteopathy. They attended the graduation ceremony on February 06, 2015 held at the York University Heights campus of NAO.

Manual osteopaths are in high demand in Canada. In some cities such as London (Ontario, Canada) there is a waiting list of over a year to see a manual osteopath. By becoming a manual osteopath, chiropractors receive more referrals from family physicians and receive more word of mouth referrals, the result being a completely booked up clinic.

Another benefit for chiropractors to become manual osteopaths is that their patients will have access to more treatments as their extended health plan insurers also cover manual osteopathic care. So when the chiropractic benefit runs out, patients can use manual osteopathic benefit under their insurance plan to receive more treatments if necessary.

The chiropractic students/massage therapist/manual osteopath in this photo is Marcus Rigoberto Martines (from Life Chiropractic College West), Medical doctor/chiropractic students/manual osteopath, Dr Deepak Pal (from D’Youville College of Chiropractic), and chiropractic student/manual osteopath Elissa Gustafson (from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College).

Here is a testimonial one of our students wrote about Professor Abazar Habibinia:

……………..the lecture on Human Growth Hormone was very interesting and I would love to recommend such supplementation to my clients, over 60% of my clients are over 50 years old………………...I love Dr. Habibinia’s lectures, his passion about his subject is so evident and it's a pleasure to study along with his enthusiasm, I would like to take all the courses he teaches, perhaps you could let me know what other courses he teaches after the BSc and DO programs.

Student Testimonial from Alberta, Canada

……………I'd like to also add that I've taken many, many courses across a variety of industries in as many different countries, and never have I come across a lecturer that is so sincerely determined to set his students up for success in both business and life as Dr Pourgol. I'm sure I speak on behalf of many students who feel the same.
We are very fortunate to have such a mentor.
Thank you Dr Pourgol.

Sincerely,
