On Saturday, May 23rd, 2020, the Canadian Chinese Merit Student Council, in partnership with UNICEF Canada, Merit Education and Bridge the Heart, have successfully hosted the 10th Annual - Virtual 2020 Canadian Chinese Students Charity Gala for Unicef, which was broadcasted to a global audience by Xinflix Media.

Thanks to your generous support, we've raised $40,000 for UNICEF to help children in Canada and around the world who are suffering from the outbreak to provide them with access to clean water, masks, adequate healthcare and education, so that no child is left behind and all children can fulfil their potentials💕

We are immensely grateful for all the donors & distinguished guests from around the world for supporting this meaningful event. And we are very proud of our student performers and volunteers for continuing on this important annual tradition of giving back to the community, despite the fact that the pandemic had also impacted them. We hope through events like this, we can become a bridge that connects the world with love🌎❤️🌈
