The children of our 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 & 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝘇𝘃𝗮𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 enjoyed a wonderful "𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚" workshop. They learned so many interesting facts about the steps of making a Torah Mezuzah and Tefillin. Each child got to experience being a Sofer by writing letters with ink and quill and got a wonderful souvenir of their Hebrew name stamped on a real piece of parchment.

Chabad of Markham Hebrew School began the year with a wonderful interactive Holiday Fair.
Rabbi Gitlin began with an informative and interesting Shofar demonstration.
After that the children had an opportunity to go to different booths as they played games and did crafts while also learning about each of the Chagim coming up.
From decorating Torah Cookies to learning how to shake a lulav and etrog , Flag making to going to shul mazes and lots more.
Each child also received a beautiful color booklet for all the upcoming Holidays to take home.
We look forward to a year of continuing learning and inspiration.

Dear Parents,
We are so excited to announce another wonderful program at Chabad of Markham Hebrew School - the Hebrew School Book Club.
On the last Sunday of every month, the children will have the opportunity to use the library each on their own level.
The younger grades will be able to read and take out books, and the older grades will be introduced to some wonderful Jewish literature with an exciting book club.
Although a membership to the Library is usually $18 per child or $36 per family, the children of the Hebrew School will have access to the library FREE of charge.
Please look out for the book your child chooses and take good care of it.
