Hello and welcome back to Katherine Teeter-Wood Tutoring!

My business has grown a lot over the last five and a half years, and I'm excited to reintroduce myself!

I offer personalized tutoring designed to be effective, engaging, and flexible to meet each student’s individual needs. I currently support students in:
✨️ Grade 6-10 Math
✨️ Grade 6-10 Science
✨️ Grade 11-12 Math (College stream)
✨️ Grade 11-12 Chemistry
✨️ Grade 6-8 French (Core & Immersion)
✨️ Piano lessons
✨️ Other subjects by special consideration

Since starting in 2020, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring over 60 students across a wide range of subjects, helping them build confidence, strengthen skills, and reach their academic goals.

As a little about me, I hold an HBSc in Integrated Science (Chemistry & Biology), an MSc in Plant Agriculture, and I currently work full-time as an Agronomist. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I truly enjoy working with students and seeing their progress over time.

New for February 2026:
✨️ Small-group lessons for high school students enrolled in the same class
✨️ A cancellation list for current students and for those I’m unable to guarantee a regular weekly appointment

Hi!

I hope everyone had a great school year!

For July and August 2024, I have a few spots for students looking to get ahead in math, science, English, and French over the summer! I also have space for a keen, dedicated beginner piano student!

Please note that availability in September for the school year isn't guaranteed, but we can see what the fall brings as it approaches.

Hi everyone!

Thank you all so much for your support this past year! I loved working with every single student I was fortunate enough to meet. I am so excited to continue working with elementary and high school students in 2022 in math, science, French, English, and piano.

Hello and welcome to Katherine Teeter-Wood Tutoring!

I offer personalized, effective, and engaging one-on-one tutoring services for elementary and high-school students in math, science, and languages in a flexible way to accommodate the individual needs of each student.

I started tutoring students in September 2020, and since then, I have helped over twenty students in over eight subjects in various combinations. All of my services are fully customizable to suit each student's individual needs.

As a little about me, I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science degree in Plant Agriculture at the University of Guelph. I'm focused on the micronutrient nutrition of sub-irrigated potted chrysanthemums. I have an HBSc from Western University where I completed an Honours Specialization in Integrated Science with Chemistry and a Minor in Biology.

I am passionate about teaching and I truly enjoy working with each student and helping them improve in their chosen subject! 😊

With September just around the corner, I hope that students needing an extra bit of support can get the help they need as they head into a new school year.
