🌿 By the grace of Allah, 14 students successfully passed the written examination after completing The Jazariyya Explained course over 26 sessions totaling nearly 35 hours, taught by Qari Misbah Taqiuddin — may Allah reward him abundantly for his efforts and service to the Qur’an.

In addition, 9 students memorized the entire textbook of Jazariya (109 lines) at a level qualifying them to receive an ijāzah in the text. This requires reciting the entire poem from memory in a single sitting with complete accuracy in wording and vowelization.

We ask Allah to place barakah in what they have learned, make the Qur’an the light of their hearts, and allow them to continue serving His Book with sincerity and excellence.

We are pleased to invite you to a unique opportunity to explore the renowned poem Hirz al-Amānī wa Wajh al-Tahānī (al-Shāṭibiyyah) by Imām al-Shāṭibī رحمه الله.

Led by Dr. Moaaz Safwat, students will embark on a focused and enriching journey into the Science of Qira’at, exploring the origins of the canonical recitations of the Qur’an and the principles used to distinguish authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) transmissions.

Through a series of engaging sessions, students will:

Study the historical development of the Science of Qira’at
Understand the criteria of authentic Qur’anic recitations
Explore the structure and methodology of al-Shāṭibiyyah
Learn essential terminology used in the field
This course is ideal for:

🧕 Huffāẓ (memorizers of the Qur’an) seeking to expand into Qira’at

👳 Students who have studied Tajwīd in detail (e.g. Matn al-Jazariyyah or equivalent)

🎓 Individuals interested in the academic study and history of the Qur’an

📌 No Prerequisites required

It is highly recommended to have completed tajwīd theory and/or to have an ijāzah in at least one riwāyah.

Whether you aim to pursue advanced study or simply wish to understand this sacred science, this course offers a structured starting point.
