We’re launching a new workshop series focused on Coast Salish pathways to self-care, strength, and community healing.

The first speaker is Cecelia Reekie, a member of the Haisla Nation, who will be sharing about her personal healing experiences through storytelling and advocacy. Cecelia is a 60s Scoop Warrior and the daughter of a Residential School Warrior.

This series creates space for Indigenous women, girls, and non-gender conforming people to share their stories, connect, and support each other on their healing journeys.

Funding for this series has been provided by the Province of BC through the Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation's Advisory Council on Indigenous Women's Giving Voice Project.

📍 Old Town Hall, Museum of Surrey | 17710 56a Avenue, Surrey, BC
📆 June 28th at 11 am - 2 pm
