Rest in peace, Parker 🤍😢

Calgary police have confirmed that the body of a small child, believed to be 11-year-old Parker, has been found after nearly two weeks of intensive searching. The remains were located in a pipe system under Deerfoot Trail following a tip from a member of the public about clothing consistent with what Parker was last seen wearing.

Chief Katie McLellan described it as an incredibly difficult day and expressed profound sadness. Search teams used specialized equipment due to unsafe conditions in the tunnels. Parker was found roughly one kilometre from his last known location.

Thoughts are with Parker’s family, loved ones, and everyone affected by this tragedy.
