MACS Enhancement Society

As we look back on 2025, we’re feeling incredibly grateful. This year brought so much good to our school community. From coming together as one new K–12 school to celebrating some truly special milestones, and one of the biggest highlights was our new playground.

It wouldn’t exist without the time, energy, and generosity of so many volunteers who showed up, pitched in, and made something amazing happen for our kids.

Thank you to each and every one of you who helped bake, build, plan, donate and support. Your hard work created a space that will be loved for years to come. 2025 was a good year to our school, and we’re so thankful for the community behind it 💙

📣 We’re Looking for a Treasurer!

Our school’s Enhancement Society is looking to fill our Treasurer position. If you’re interested in learning more or think the role might be a great fit for you, we’d love to have you join us at our meeting this Wednesday(tomorrow) at 6:30pm in the library!

Your involvement helps make so many great things happen at our school — thank you for considering it!

MACS parent council would like to send out a HUGE thank-you to all of our amazing volunteers who stepped up to run the canteen at Volleyball Provincials this past weekend! 💙🤍

Because of your hard work, long hours, and incredible teamwork, we were able to raise just over $2,000! That’s an incredible accomplishment and we are so grateful.

To top it all off… our team brought home the Provincial Championship! 🏆🎉
A successful fundraiser, an electric atmosphere, and a championship win — what a weekend for our school community!

We’re looking for a few helping hands to come rake gravel at the new playground tomorrow at 4pm. It shouldn’t take more than an hour or two, and many hands will make light work! Bring a rake if you have one — we’d really appreciate the help getting things finished up. 💪😊

👏 A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who came out today to kick off the first day of building the new MACS playground! Your hard work and energy are what’s making this project come to life for our kids and community.

🌟 A special shout-out to RME, Keith Hutchison Holdings, CNRL employees Greg McCracken and Cody Nehring. Clint Stevens, Lloyd & Marilyn Stevens along with their grandchildren Brandt and Kate for getting the ball rolling on Wednesday with all the prep work and getting everything ready so we could hit the ground running today.

We’ll be building every evening until 9pm, so if you’ve got some free time over the next few days and want to be part of this exciting project, we’d love for you to stop by and lend a hand. Every bit of help makes a difference! 💪💛
