One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching students realize:
“I actually can do this.”
Many people arrive to Level 1 unsure if they’re experienced enough, strong enough, flexible enough, or knowledgeable enough to begin.
And then slowly over the weekend, something shifts.
Confidence grows.
The body softens.
Movement becomes more intuitive.
People begin trusting their hands.
This recent reflection from a student deeply touched me:
✨
“I wasn’t sure what to expect from the weekend, but I can say Tara has created something truly inviting, accessible, and inspiring.
I was one of the few with no related professional experiences. I was welcomed in openly and taught with respect.
Class was paced well with plenty of time for practice, questions, and learning.
I came to learn how beneficial Thai bodywork is both for the recipient and practitioner. I felt energized, free, and relaxed afterwards.
For bodyworkers of all backgrounds, I can’t emphasize enough how helpful this could be in your practice.
And for those, like me, wanting to start but not knowing where to begin: this may be just what you’re looking for.”
— A. Newton, Nova Scotia
✨
This is exactly why I created this training to be both deeply professional and deeply accessible.
You do not need prior experience to begin. You can come exactly as you are.
Level 1 Foundations begins this September in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.
Early Bird pricing available until June 15.

What Are Thai Sen Lines?
One of the foundational concepts we explore inside Traditional Thai Massage training is the system of Sen Lines.
Sen lines are often described as energetic pathways within the body — somewhat similar to meridians in Chinese Medicine or nadis in Yogic traditions.
In Thai Massage, practitioners work rhythmically along these lines using:
• compression
• acupressure
• stretching
• rocking
• heat
Traditionally, Thai Massage was developed to help encourage the healthy flow of energy, circulation, breath, and movement throughout the body.
But even from a modern therapeutic perspective, working along Sen lines can support:
✨ nervous system regulation
✨ mobility and flexibility
✨ fascial release
✨ relaxation
✨ body awareness
✨ whole-body integration
One of the things I love most about Thai Massage is that it doesn’t isolate the body into disconnected parts.
It views the body as deeply interconnected.
Inside the Heart of Thai Massage Training, students begin learning foundational Sen lines while also understanding how they relate therapeutically to tension patterns held, in the soft tissue, organs, mind and nervous system.
This work is both ancient and incredibly relevant.

There was a time in my life where I thought healing work was mostly about learning techniques.
And while technique absolutely matters… over the years, Thai Massage taught me something much deeper.
It taught me how to listen.
To slow down enough to feel another person’s breath.
To notice tension before forcing change.
To work *with* the body rather than against it.
What first drew me to Thailand years ago was intention to dive deep into a practice that can help others while remaining centered and in my meditation practice.
What kept bringing me back was the depth of presence woven into this practice.
Traditional Thai Massage is more than stretching or bodywork.
It’s movement.
Meditation.
Compassion.
Relationship
And honestly, in a world that moves so quickly, I think many of us are quietly longing for exactly that.
This Fall I’ll be opening the doors again for the Heart of Thai Massage Training in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.
Whether you are:
✨ an RMT
✨ yoga teacher
✨ wellness practitioner
✨ or completely new to bodywork…

A question I hear often is:
“Can I take this training if I’m a beginner?”
Absolutely.
While many RMTs and wellness professionals join the program, you do not need prior experience to begin learning Thai Massage.
The training is intentionally designed to:
✨ Meet students where they are
✨ Build confidence step-by-step
✨ Support safe body mechanics
✨ Create strong foundations
Traditional Thai Massage is practiced on a floor mat with the receiver fully clothed, using rhythmic compressions, assisted stretching, movement, and mindful touch.
Students often tell me they’re surprised by:
• How meditative the practice feels
• How intuitive it becomes over time
• How supported they feel while learning
If you’ve been quietly curious about this work, I’d encourage you to trust that feeling.
The Fall 2026 Training begins this September in Mahone Bay, NS.
Early Bird pricing available until June 15 ✨

One of the reasons I fell in love with Thai Massage is because it never felt like “performing techniques.”
It felt like learning how to listen.
To breath.
To rhythm.
To calm the mind and heart.
To the subtle ways the body asks for support.
It felt like a movement and massage practice, that had great potential to help another human being.
Traditional Thai Massage is often called a moving meditation — and over the years, I’ve seen how deeply healing that can be for both the receiver and practitioner.
For many students, this training becomes more than learning bodywork.
It becomes:
✨ A reconnection to themselves
✨ A more sustainable way of working
✨ A deepening of intuition and confidence
✨ A reminder that healing doesn’t have to come from force
This Fall, I’ll be offering the Heart of Thai Massage Training again in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.
Beginners welcome.
RMTs welcome.
Yoga teachers welcome.
Humans with curious hearts welcome.
The stiff, sore and those needing some selfcare are especially welcome.

Spring Ayurveda Gut Healing Guide is almost finished 🌿
If you’re really feeling the dampness, heaviness, and transition of the season lately… maybe it’s showing up as:
* lethargy
* breakouts
* weight gain
* congestion
* joint pain
* brain fog
* or simply feeling sleepy and heavy after meals
Ayurveda would say… exactly.
Spring is the season where we naturally see an increase in cold, wet, heavy qualities in the environment. And often, those same qualities begin showing up in the body.
In Ayurveda, this is the time where Kapha tends to accumulate and digestion can become compromised, leading to a buildup of toxins or undigested residue — what we call *Ama*.
Which makes spring one of the most important and supportive times to gently shift our routines, lighten the load, and support the digestive system, especially the liver.
If you’d like to feel:
✨ lighter
✨ clearer
✨ more energized
✨ and more you, comfortable in your body
…I’ve got a live online call coming up where I’ll be teaching Gut Health Through the Lens of Ayurveda and sharing simple, practical ways to begin healing your gut and easing some of the imbalances you may be experiencing.
And don’t worry if you can’t make the live calls live — everything will be recorded and available for you to revisit in your own time.
Included:
🌿 Live teaching call
🌿 23-page Spring Ayurveda Gut Healing Guide
🌿 My spring cleansing tea recipes
🌿 A bonus follow-up call with bodywork & breath practices
🌿 1 month Access to the Heartbeat community where you can ask questions related to the content and share reflections along the way
Investment: $35 CAD
Truthfully, this offering is new, and the price will absolutely be increasing in the future. Right now, I’d genuinely love feedback as I explore this community-based Ayurvedic health coaching model in real time.
And also… this Mama has to begin receiving healthy exchange for the years of study, practice, and heart that have gone into this work 💛
If you are interested in making some healthy changes this spring
and feeling lighter, clearer and more aligned
Comment YES PLEASE
And I'll be in touch with more details.
To your health,
Tara
