What a perfect way to wrap up an amazing school year! 💦☀️ Our annual Soak-a-Six was full of laughter, smiles, and a lot of very wet Grade 6 students as we wished them farewell.

To our Grade 6s—best of luck as you begin your journey at MSS. We know you'll do great things!

A big thank you to our incredible parents, Morfee Elementary PAC, and the Mackenzie Fire Department for helping make this fun tradition possible. Have a safe and wonderful summer! 🌞

On Friday, June 19th, the Mackenzie Secondary School graduates took one final walk through the elementary school halls where a lot of their journeys began.

From little learners to graduating seniors, it was a special moment filled with memories, smiles, and inspiration for the students following in their footsteps.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are so proud of you.

In honour of Indigenous Peoples Day, Miss Olson’s Kindergarten students shared their learning with Morfee Elementary by teaching us how to count to ten in the Tse’Khene language. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate and learn about the language, culture, and traditions of the McLeod Lake Indian Band and the Tse’Khene people.

Thank you to our Kindergarten students for being such confident and enthusiastic teachers!

The Lost & Found is full of items waiting to be reunited with their owners! Come check outside the office for any missing treasures before they leave for good.

Please stop by before NOON on June 26. After that, all unclaimed items will be donated to the local thrift store, where they will begin exciting new adventures with new owners. 🛍️✨

From January through to the end of May, the Intermediate Musical Theatre Club practiced 11 songs from 9 different musicals for their debut performance 'Morfee on Broadway.' Ms. Heather, Mrs. Wright, Ms. Perry, and Mrs. Taylor would like to congratulate all the students on their fantastic performances. Your hard work paid off! We'd also like to thank everyone - family, friends, colleagues, and community members - who helped make this performance possible. Stay tuned for what we create next year!
