Thought it would be a good time to repost this video with it being National Wildlife Day.

This took me several hours to write . I wanted this piece to reflect my soul and my broken heart at all the chaos occurring around the world. I hope I do it justice, for even a bit going out to all.

It goes out to ALL who carry light into the dark,
who fight quietly for peace,
who plant seeds they may never see grow

On day 12 of the expedition, they
suddenly appear out of nowhere.

behind-the-scenes footage of the moment a pack of arctic wolves appear on his horizon line, and carefully approach him with a curiosity that's perhaps unique to their species.

Eschel says "Unlike other wolves who
have to deal with human encroachment, the arctic
wolves of northern Ellesmere Island have no intrinsic distrust of humans. Their harsh and remote environment means that they have never been hunted or persecuted by men, they were never given a reason not to trust mankind as a result."

Wolves don't need mankind to teach it balance. Wolves are not the ones out of control ....

Humans are

Wolves carried a wisdom of the wild and how to manage it and themselves long before we ever drew borders across the earth

For thousands of years, Arctic wolves survived in one of the harshest places left on Earth; where winter seems endless , winds are brutal, and there is darkness and often times scarcity of food . They are born into hardship from the moment they take their first breath.

Yet even here in the Arctic,where survival is a daily battle, wolves manage themselves with an intelligence humans rarely understand.

They do not destroy entire prey species
They do not kill without purpose.

Wolf packs naturally regulate their own numbers based on food availability, territory size, pup survival, and the health of the land they run on.

When prey does become scarce, fewer pups survive, breeding may decrease, and younger wolves disperse to find new territories rather than overcrowd an area. Nature already created its own system of balance. One the wolves understand.

The Arctic wolf's survival is learning how to create tight relationships with each other and the environment from which they are forged.

They move with the muskox, the Arctic hare, and caribou in a rhythm so much older than human politics. The weak are taken, and the strong survive.

Even death serves life in the North. Ravens feed and little Arctic Foxes survive. The tundra renews itself without any human interference.

The truth is, the Wild Earthy shaped wolves long before humans decided they needed “management.” The Arctic remained wild because wolves knew how to exist amongst its hardship. .

In many ways, it is humanity that struggles to regulate itself; not the wolf.

It’s about presence and connection.

This is a unique outdoor yoga experience where participants practice gentle, guided movement in the presence of our wolf outreach ambassadors.
This experience is designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection to nature. The session is suitable for all levels and focuses on slow, intentional movement, breathwork, and grounding techniques.

Set on wild lands, surrounded by a healing forest, this experience invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect to something instinctual within yourself.

Their spirit changes the space itself and softens you while bringing you back into your body in a way that feels natural and instinctual.

Set in a WILD studio.
It’s not something you rush while here.
It’s a moment where the wild meets you exactly as you are.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to arrive, to listen, and to let go of everything that isn’t real.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…
is breathe beside something untamed.

Do Wolves NEED US to Save Them? Or is it they need us to stop lying about them? To stop dressing up fear in uniforms to turn into policy and bullets into something we dare to call "management"?

What wolves NEED are the stories to change, walls to fall down within our minds and old , dark perceptions to be broken wide open to allow the light in. Wolves walk the edges of the land, living strongholds that refuse to simply die

Wolves have never been a problem you see. All they have wanted is to keep breathing in a world of humans who have forgotten their humanity.

They want space to be alive, but humans continue to hunt them down, circle them with fear, hatred, and systemic prejudice. Wolves DON'T need us to save them.. we NEED THEM to save US.

To remember who we were ( before we built cages for everything we wanted to possess) to bring awareness to who we are.
This is why a WOLF Adventure Outreach and Retreat and Living Sky Wolf Outreach and Preserve Inc. exist today. Wolves remind us all about the animal that we look at in the mirror each day,

The wolves are valuable lessons here. You don't just learn about them. You learn about yourself and how to find alignment. I've always said to look into the eyes of a wolf, it's like looking into an ancient world reflecting back to us who we still have the chance to become. Who do you want to be?

Why does Wolf Outreach Matter?

Because the biggest threat to wolves isn't biology, it's perception. THAT'S WHY direct Outreach and education is so powerful, and why here at A WOLF Adventure Outreach and Retreat and Living Sky Wolf Outreach & Preserve Inc., we strive to create one of a kind experiences & teach wild based education.

Most fear of wolves comes from myths, sensational stories, and misinformation passed down over generations. ( to then becomes systemic issues like we see with the Cody Roberts of the world running down wolf pups with snowmobiles in Wyoming and my own Wolf Ambassador pup in Canada being executed by a pastor and Bible Camp)

Outreach replaces fear with understanding. Wolves don't target people. They are simply being wolves & avoiding conflict whenever possible. Wolves are family oriented, cooperative, & socially complex

When the public understands wolves...
support for indiscriminate killing drops, tolerance, and coexistence rise, and stronger wildlife protections become politically possible. THIS is why, in a nutshell, educational Outreaches like mine are one of the most effective conservation tools we have.

People protect what they feel a connection with on a personal level, especially youth focused & ambassador based programs. People can start to view wolves as individuals, not statistics, understand pack dynamics and ecological impact, and recognize them as a keystone species vital to the health of the planet.

In short, outreach matters because wolves don’t need saving from nature they need protection from misunderstanding.
