This past week, the students of KSS spent time at Pasulko Lake learning on the land; the secondary students went on Wednesday and elementary students went on Thursday. A HUGE thank you to Lytton First Nations for allowing us to use their beautiful land and also to Kevin Duncan, Jen Brown, Adam Phillips, Jewel Phillips, Patashi Pimms, Dion Moody, Rachael Sam, Zaleka and all of KSS' staff for making these two days such a great learning experience for the students. The students had such a great time.

Over the last two days, grade 8 to 12 students have been working Kevin Duncan and Ross Muehlfarth to deconstruct eagles. The students learned about the respectful utilization of their remains and their cultural and ceremonial purposes. A huge thank you to Kevin and Ross for teaching our students.

KSS hosted a U10 soccer tournament. Desert Sands Community School, Cayoosh Elementary School and Cache Creek Elementary School joined us for a day of fun and exciting competition.
