👶💛 Caring for Our Little Babies! 🍼🛁

Our toddlers have been busy nurturing, caring, and showing empathy through imaginative play! 🥰 They rocked, fed, and patted their babies’ backs, gave them baths, cut their “hair,” and even practiced changing and wiping their bottoms. 🧼🍼✂️

Through this play, the children explored caregiving, empathy, communication, independence, and familiar daily routines. They practiced using gentle hands, taking turns, and working together while developing their confidence and understanding of how we care for others. 💕🤝

This experience reflects HDLH through Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression, while connecting with ELECT through social-emotional development, communication, self-help skills, and imaginative play. 🌱✨

Sometimes the most meaningful learning comes from pretending, caring, and playing together! 👶💛

Our toddlers have been enjoying a week full of summer and ice-cream-themed crafts and sensory activities! 🎨🍦

Today, the children became little scientists as they made their very own ice cream! 🧑‍🔬✨ They explored what happens when ingredients are combined with ice and salt, then shook, experimented, and worked together to create their frozen treat. Some children even used teamwork, taking turns and helping each other along the way! 🤝💛

This experience supported HDLH by encouraging Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression, while connecting with ELECT through problem-solving, communication, cooperation, sensory exploration, and developing motor skills. 🌱🧠💬

The children were active participants in their learning—exploring, wondering, experimenting, and celebrating their discoveries! 🔎✨

And of course… the best part was enjoying their delicious creation! 😋🍦

Our Summer Camp children had a very special visit from two adorable furry friends! Kaleigh brought in her pet bunnies for the children to meet, creating such a fun and exciting experience.

The children absolutely loved getting to see, gently pet, and learn about the bunnies. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that brought lots of smiles, excitement, and happy memories to our Summer Camp day! 💕🐇
