A new cria (baby alpaca) at Pootcorners Alpacas. We got to see his first steps while getting the Humming Herd Acres - Alpaca Farm boys sheered yesterday. Great moment. The “rural romp” is this Saturday at Pootcorners…go and visit! Check them out and say hi to the newest addition.

Our 2025 cria season opened yesterday with Pootcorners Ciaus' Otter! This handsome little boy arrived just in time for some visitors to see him. He'll be available to see at the Spring Rural Romp on Saturday

Today marks the start of the Poppy Campaign of The Royal Canadian Legion. Poppy boxes are now placed throughout the community and poppies can be picked up at the Legion tonight as well...on your way to order chicken wings!

While you're there...buy a pin to hold the poppy in place, a lawn sign, or a handmade cross by Lynda (limited supply).
