Keith Stewart and The Key Ranch Cutting Horses

Keith Stewart and The Key Ranch Cutting Horses Keith Stewart & The Key Ranch Cutting Horses C**t Starting:

The Key Ranch offers a limited c**t starting service and instruction on starting young horses.

The focus of c**t starting is halter work, gentling, saddling and the first ride with low stress for both horse and rider. New Horse Owner Workshop:

What you and your new horse need to know to keep healthy and safe. Ranch Horse Versatility:

Ranch horses and their riders encounter many obstacles during a normal day of ranch work. In Ranch Horse Versatility our horses are asked to respond to obsta

cles carefully, willingly and with awareness. Horses are introduced to hobbling, opening and closing gates, the rope and dragging a log, crossing bridges and other barriers. Ranch Horsemanship:

Establish a good relationship with our horses by development of ground manners and ground work. Determining what is acceptable behavior and a good relationship with our horses on the ground influences how they behave when ridden. Getting our horses safe to be around is paramount in the of horsemanship. Horsemanship advances to introducing our horses to cattle, horse position for sorting, cutting and working cattle. Ranch Roping:

The roping techniques of the vaquero is the basis for the ranch roping methods taught at the Key Ranch. Long ropes, big loops, getting our ranch horses in position to rope and stop a cow. Ranch Roping is not a timed event but rather a low stress approach to roping and doctoring cattle in a ranch environment. Workshops:

Review horse handling, grooming and care, tack and equipment, health, feeding, facilities, safety and movement.

Shelby created our website CowboyCampus.com

Hi friends! I’m Shelby Stewart, the brain behind Cowboy Campus University and The Branding Pen, and I’ve been building websites since I was 10 years old. (One of my first creations? I'm not afraid to admit... a whole entire website about my guinea pigs! LOL!)

Fast forward to today, I’ve designed countless websites for rural businesses—ranches, farmers, leatherworkers, tallow makers, and horse trainers—helping them get online, make more money, and create more freedom.

Here’s the truth:

—75% of customers judge a business’s credibility by its website

—It takes just 0.05 seconds for someone to form an impression

—If your website is outdated or nonexistent, they’re clicking away… and you’re leaving sales on the table

Your website should be your always-on sales assistant, working 24/7 to put more customer eyes on your business and more sales in your pockets.

That’s why I created my Done-In-A-Day Website Build—a full, custom, professional website done in just one day. After 15+ years of building websites I made this offer to get you online, fast.

Right now, you can secure your brand-new website at 25% OFF during the beta launch of this new Done-In-a-Day offer:
✅ Regular $3,550 CAD
✅ 3 spots left at $2,662 CAD

If you’re a beef producer, tallow maker, leather worker, horse trainer, or any other hardworking rural business, I’m here to help you get online fast so your business can start selling while you sleep.

Farmers and ranchers are the backbone of our country, and I’m passionate about helping you make more money and secure more freedom in your business and on your ranch.

If you’ve been putting off your dream site because it feels too overwhelming or expensive… let me build it for you in one weekend.

Classy. Professional. Built to reflect you. And a super fast turnaround.

Let me tell you a story... One evening, Shelby and I were sitting at the kitchen table, surrounded by scraps of paper and half-finished ideas, trying to solve a problem that had been circling us for weeks. We wanted a way to explain what our content was—something that could connect with folks in a clear, straightforward way. We were excited about the content we were offering, but we’d noticed that people didn’t quite understand what to expect from it.

A lot of our community had learned horsemanship through clinics or in-person lessons, but the idea of learning online was new to them. We’d hear questions like, “What do you mean by an online course? How long are these? Do I have to watch the whole thing?” We knew we needed something that resonated with their experience while also making it clear how practical and accessible our program really is.

At that time, (2022) we had just moved our membership, Building Trust Not Tension: The CCU Club, to an amazing new platform. We wanted to make sure our messaging reflected the simplicity and effectiveness of what we had to offer.

That’s when the term “mini-clinic” was born. Shelby and I were throwing ideas back and forth, scribbling them down and crossing them out, when one of us said, “What if we call them mini-clinics?” And just like that, the lightbulb went off. It was an AHA! moment, and we both knew we had nailed it.

The term “mini-clinic” perfectly captures what we’re offering: bite-sized, focused lessons on specific topics, just like taking in the best parts of a clinic without the time or cost commitment. Instead of sitting through a full day of lessons or listening to a clinician cover topics that might not apply to you, you can search for exactly what you need and get right to it.

Mini-clinics are the heart of the content you’ll find inside Building Trust Not Tension: The CCU Club. We upload new mini-clinics often, covering everything from c**t starting to groundwork, trailer loading, and even our troubleshooting mini-clinic, which tackles just about every issue you can think of. These mini-clinics are exclusive to the membership and designed to save you time while giving you exactly what you need to make progress with your horse.

What’s more, after watching a mini-clinic, you can ask our virtual assistant trainer, Kailey, any questions you have—24 hours a day, 7 days a week—and get immediate answers. It’s like having a coach right in your back pocket, ready to guide you whenever you need help.

Our community loved the term as much as we did, and they’ve embraced the mini-clinics inside Building Trust Not Tension: The CCU Club. Mini-clinics save time, answer your questions, and give you the tools you need to make real progress with your horse. Shelby and I are proud of what we’ve created, and we’re confident you’ll love them too. So, why not dive in and experience a mini-clinic for yourself? You’ll see just how powerful a bite-sized lesson can be. Join us today inside Building Trust Not Tension: The CCU Club and discover the mini-clinics for yourself. Your journey to better horsemanship starts here!

Got a few spaces for this Saturday’s one-day clinic! Come ride with us 🤠🤙🏼

We’re doing another one of my one-day clinics this weekend, Saturday August 10th at my property, The Key Ranch, near Longview Alberta! Don’t miss out! This clinic is going to be an incredible learning experience.

You’ll learn to utilize my collaborative horsemanship approach to focus on getting your horse soft, willing and responsive while strengthening your trust and respect between one another. We’ll emphasize giving your horse a job that you can both learn and improve from!

You’ll leave the clinic feeling empowered in your horsemanship, more connected to your horse and confident in the saddle! The tools we’ll be working on will enable your horse to do their jobs better, whatever that may be. That being established, we’ll then move on to cow work (everyone likes to have some fun working cows, right!) and introduce or refresh your horse on cattle work. This clinic is open to all levels and disciplines of horse and rider, I’ll meet each of you individually where you’re at.

I like to keep these groups small so that each horse & rider duo gets the support and coaching they may need so I encourage y’all to claim your spot sooner than later. You can email me at [email protected] to claim your spot, or with any questions you may have.

PLUS join us for a celebratory trail ride August 31st, when we take our horses out on the trail to enjoy the hard work we’ve put into our horsemanship and relationship with our horses!

This investment is $250 per horse/rider. The guided Kananaskis trail ride is $100. Limited spaces are available. You do not need to join us inside this clinic to partake in the trail ride but you do need to have rode with myself at a clinic in the past or have taken a lesson prior to the trail ride to be eligible. You have the option of meeting us at the trail ride location or having myself haul your horse for a $50 hauling fee. The clinic will run from 9-5 with a break from 12-1.

DM or email me to join. I’ll see y’all there!
