💰 Need financing to turn your business idea into reality? The Government of Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship Loan Fund offers loans of up to $50,000 to women entrepreneurs across Canada.

This is designed especially for start-ups, sole proprietors, and entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities who may face barriers accessing traditional financing. Funds can help with start-up costs, equipment, inventory, marketing, technology, or business expansion.

South Asian women entrepreneurs are encouraged to explore the delivery organizations serving their province. In Ontario, options include Nventure, NACCA, and PARO for Northern Ontario. Each organization sets its own application process, eligibility review, and repayment terms.

Who may be eligible:
• Women entrepreneurs in Canada
• Start-ups, sole proprietors, and existing businesses
• Applicants seeking to start, stabilize, or grow a business
• Underrepresented entrepreneurs are particularly encouraged to apply

🪶 Indigenous women entrepreneurs — the Indigenous Intellectual Property Program Grant has a deadline approaching on August 26!

The Indigenous Intellectual Property Program provides grants to support Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs in protecting and commercializing their intellectual property. The program helps cover the costs of IP registration, legal fees, and strategy development.

For the 2026-2027 cycle, applications are open until August 26, 2026. The grant supports Indigenous-owned businesses in all sectors, including traditional knowledge-based products, arts and crafts, technology, and innovation.
