The newest issue of the SSA’s Sociological Imagination Journal is now live!

The Journal has 10 peer-reviewed academic student papers. The issue features undergraduate research exploring themes of inequality, belonging, and power across areas like healthcare, immigration, digital cultures, and family life.

Hey SSA! We’re excited to announce we are running to be your Co-Presidents for the 2026-2027 academic year. Having both been part of the SSA for years we both share a passion for promotion of our club and hosting memorable events. Together we are committed to leading the SSA with a vision of expanding the reach of the SSA. Vote Akua and Esther as next year’s co-presidents and join us in multiplying the work of the SSA!

Emilee for VP Events. As a previous SSA member in the events portfolio she is very motivated to run some new events and revive previous events like Wine and Cheese that been lots of fun! She would love to be your VP Events for the 2026-2027 year!

Hey SSA! We’re back with an update!! The location of our event will be held in SSC 3026 from 5:30-7:30PM.
Come with your friends and paint some canvases and make affirmation cards! Let it be a way to destress and detach yourself from studying!!
The room will be announced shortly but make sure to mark it in your calendars! 🎨🫟💙
