Jessy a obtenu son doctorat en études françaises à Western en 2017, sous la direction de Daniel Vaillancourt.

"Quick note as the year wraps up. Some of you already know this, but I teach too, which means I'm learning firsthand that when you teach, you rarely get to see the full impact you've had, and almost no one circles back to tell you. So, I wanted to be one of the ones who does.

Outside of class I run EIB, a high school incubator where students build real companies with mentors and capital on the line. I started building it back in December 2024, and it's now running at Toronto French School. We just minted our first cohort and put over 27k toward student innovation, with plans to expand to a few more schools next year. The core of it is that we bring in working founders and operators to teach the students directly.

The way you taught me this year shows up not only in how I teach others, but in how my startup itself is taking shape. You're a big part of why I'm excited for second year."
