• Camp Kee-Mo-Kee 2026 ☀️
We enjoyed a wonderful year-end trip at Camp KMK this week! The staff organized a fun-filled day of adventure, exploration, critical thinking, teamwork and more.
Our students had the opportunity to build shelters, try the climbing wall, go on an orienteering mission, observe the sky, play a variety of group games, and even meet a wizard! It was a day to remember.
We are grateful for the thought and care that Camp KMK puts into their programming and highly recommend checking them out!
Thanks Camp Kee-Mo-Kee ! 💚

• Symbeeosis 🐝 💛
We had the pleasure of visiting Symbeeosis Apiary today! Dhyana graciously hosted us on her property to teach our students about the importance of bees, sustainability, mindful bee keeping, and our energetic connection to nature.
These topics align with our core teachings at TSOP so we were delighted to connect with Dhyana on this.
Our students had the opportunity to observe the bees, wearing bee suits! They also built a home for native bees and got to sample some delicious honey.
Thank you having us @ ! Our students left with a greater appreciation for nature, an awareness of how to help protect pollinators, and a lasting memory of the exciting world of bees.

🌟 Student Makers Market + OPEN HOUSE!
We will be hosting our final ‘Share the Magic Day’ of the school year on June 3rd from 11-2!
Our students are excited to share the progress of their businesses with the community. All students (ages 5-13) will be participating in our market as part of our business curriculum and entrepreneurship program.
To top the day off, we will also be sharing tours and answering all the questions any new families may have. If you’re curious about our space, who we are, and/or looking to learn more about our program; come on by!
We hope you can join us in supporting these hardworking, dedicated students; as well as taking the time to explore a potential new learning space for your child.

We are changing!
If you haven't made space to check out our changes for the 2026-27 school year, please check it out by clicking the link in our bio.
For the next school year we are shifting from:
**a business partnership back to sole proprietorship
**two separate and distinct programs to one complete program
**limited confining choices, to giving families more flexibility to match school with life
What does this mean for you?
It means that enrollment can match the schedule of your family.
It means that every student will build a drum and participate in our drum community.
It means that homeschooling parents can get the break they need AND guidance around homeschooling all in one place.
Choice is an amazing opportunity.
What will you choose for your child this September?

• Mythical Creatures 🐉
In February we had the pleasure of hosting Magan; a local Fibre Artist who uses natural dyes to colour her creations. She taught our students how to use wet felting to make balls and squares.
Our Sprout class used their felt balls within their Mythical Creature project. This magical inquiry started with an interest in dragons and expanded over the last few months. Students explored books and activities around mythical creatures, brainstormed a creature of their own, and then created a plan to move forward. These plans included colours, shapes and materials. They then began their creature creation!
An informative poster became the next step in support of earning their “Crearion Badge” for the year. Each student presented their poster and mythical creature to the class. We got to learn where each creature lived within Canada, and pinned their photo to our wall map.
The students are loving the visual represnetaion; setting up meeting plans with classmates and bringing geographical vocabulary into their conversations.
Thanks for supporting our inquiry Magan! It’s always fun to learn a new skill. 🙌🏼

We do some really cool 90s kids kind of things here.
Why?
Nature needs children
And
Children need nature.
Raising up a generation of children that:
-understand that all plants have uses and benefits
-respect nature and give back more than they take
-let their passions lead
-know themselves from the inside out
-understand how their bodies work best
-know the benefits of vitamins and minerals and where to find them
-know how to identify animal friends
-practice their favourite tools in their own ways for emotional regulation because they understand their own feelings
-know how to be a creator, employee, and entrepreneur
-know how to lead in heart-centered supportive ways
