Ben brings more than 25 years of leadership experience and a strong commitment to community impact. His background in post-secondary education, skills development, and social innovation will help support Pathways as we continue building meaningful opportunities for employers, job seekers, and our community.

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the June 6th attack on the Afzaal family. We stand united with our community in opposing Islamophobia and in memory of this tragedy. The Five Year Commemoration Vigil and March commemoration will be held on June 6th at Hyde Park Rd at South Carriage Road, at 6:00pm.
• Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
• Time: Remarks begin at 6:30 p.m.
• Location: South Carriage Road west of Hyde Park Road.
• Parking: Parking is available at Oakridge Secondary School, Real Canadian Superstore and The Medical Centre
• Shuttles: Shuttles will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to bring participants parked at Oakridge Secondary School up to South Carriage Road for the vigil. A bus will follow the march back to Oakridge for those in need of assistance. After prayer, shuttles will be available to ferry those who parked north of the site to Gainsborough.
