We always love bringing our clients out into the community to experience the incredible cultures, traditions, and diversity that make London such a vibrant place to call home.

⏰ The Joseph’s House Scholarship application deadline is coming up!

Applications are open for the Joseph’s House Scholarship, created to support individuals from refugee backgrounds who are pursuing higher education. Recipients will receive $750 to help them take the next step toward their educational goals.

Meet Masooma, a previous Joseph’s House Scholarship recipient! The selection committee was inspired by her dedication to her education while balancing full-time work, as well as her commitment to giving back and staying involved in her community.

Help them start this exciting new chapter with confidence! Join our Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) High School Orientation, a free two-day program designed to help newcomer students make friends, learn about the Canadian school system, and prepare for success in high school.

Students will gain confidence, build connections, and learn how to navigate classes, school routines, and life in a Canadian high school, all in a fun and welcoming environment.

Helping newcomer families thrive, together.

The CCLC offers free wellness support for newcomer youth and parents, available virtually and in person. Our group sessions are designed to support emotional wellbeing, build confidence and resilience, strengthen family relationships, and provide practical parenting strategies.

Topics may include emotional wellness, positive parenting, healthy relationships, mindfulness and grounding techniques, self-esteem, and goal setting. Sessions are tailored to the needs of each group, with additional support and interpreters available.

This program is funded for Permanent Residents.
