On Tuesday November 18, 2025, Bill 33 is expected to pass and we are calling on all OSSTF/FEESO members to show solidarity by wearing Red for Ed.
This visible show of unity will send a strong message about our commitment to publicly-funded education and our collective strength.

Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States - June 19, 1865 - when freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Texas, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

We remember Juneteenth not just to honour the past, but to recognize the resilience, strength, and ongoing fight for justice within Black communities.

It's a reminder that freedom delay is freedom denied - and that the struggle for equity continues today.
