JB Guitar & Voice

I’ve had some new students join over the past few months, and I’ve also seen some long-term students move into new stages of their lives.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize one of the longest-standing students I’ve ever had: Aidan.

Aidan has been with JB Guitar & Voice practically from the very beginning, and I’ve been truly honored to teach and coach him musically throughout the years.
He is now a singer-songwriter, currently in his third year of the well-known Music Industry Arts program, and continues to release music while playing gigs all over London, Ontario and beyond.
An A+ music student with a huge road ahead of him. Congrats, Aidan! The door is always open for your continued development! 💯🎸

It is with a heavy heart to announce that we lost a student of the JB Guitar & Voice family. Sheri was a beautiful soul, dedicated singer and musician who absolutely loved everything about music. I was very fortunate to work with her and had her even play at the annual JB Guitar & Voice Concert this past December.
She would come in every week eager to play the song we were working on and was quick to adapt to any direction in music she was given. She had a soft vocal, was quickly learning guitar and had a wide taste in music ❤️
Outside of music Sheri was an accomplished secondary school Teacher and Pilates instructor amongst so many other things.
She passed unexpectedly after a complicated medical incident and we are all sending love, thoughts and prayers to her family during this very difficult time. ❤️🙏🏻
Her music and influence she had on everyone will continue to live on as she is now at peace.

Last night I held the 11th JB Guitar & Voice concert but only the 1st ever Christmas concert. We had between 60-80 people show up to watch many of my amazing students perform Christmas and non Christmas songs!
Thanks to everyone who showed was definitely a favorite of mine so far! Also loved the new venue at St Annes Church in Byron.
For those students who couldn't make it due to colds etc we missed ya but always opportunities down the road.
