We are SO grateful and humbled by our latest Best of London achievement! The community voted ArtVenture in three categories this year as Best Art Classes for Children & Teens, Best Art Workshops for Adults & Best Summer Day Camps!! Our camps are nearly full, but registration is still open for our four-weeks of August camps and workshops. We're excited to celebrate with you and welcome artists of all ages to our studio this summer!

Join us in July and August at our exciting ADULT SUMMER CLASSES!! Each month we will be offering a 12hr workshop, diving into a range of drawing and painting art projects and working through a variety of styles and techniques. During these four-day classes, students will develop their art skills in a fun and relaxed studio atmosphere as they gain new knowledge and a whole lot of confidence! Registration is now open online for our SCULPTING WORKSHOP! By creating both relief and free standing sculptures, campers will be introduced to the world of 3D art. Learning from the great 20th century sculptors, students will be exposed to a variety of techniques including modeling, molding, carving, assembling, and casting. Throughout the week, campers will use different materials to plan and execute their very own three dimensional artwork. We invite you and your sculptor to join us this summer as we begin our journey into three dimensional art!! Please note: sculpting camps are open to kids entering grade 5 through grade 12!!

Registration is now open online for our SUMMER VISUAL ARTS CAMP! Providing a fun and educational experience, this camp will allow students to express their creativity while learning about the elements and principles of art and design. Introducing students to art history, they will be exposed to famous 20th century artists to inspire their works. During the week, students will develop new drawing and painting techniques as they work on age-appropriate art projects. We hope you and your artist are able to join us this summer as we dive into a fun and artsy journey together!

Registration is now open online for our upcoming INTRO TO ANIMATION WORKSHOP! This summer, during our intro to 2D animation, campers will begin with drafting their very own animation sequence. In the form of a storyboard, they portray action and movement as they are introduced to the principles of 2D movement and expression. Throughout the week, animators will get a chance to develop their character by focusing on proportion and perspective. On Friday of each week, they will have the chance to see their character in action!

As we set to wrap-up our spring term, our adult students are learning about still life art. Still Life arrangements can elevate everyday objects into artistic masterpieces. Although the concept of still life first emerged hundreds of years ago, it continues to be one of the most influential subjects in art. Through different art movements, the still life has been able to convey an array of emotions as well as challenge tradition by playing with the elements of art and introducing the artist to new techniques. This week, our grade 6-8 students have begun a sculpting project! Working with clay, students were busy sculpting faces with exaggerated features to express different personalities. For this sculpture, we began by creating pinch pots as the foundation of their characters.
